I think there is enough contrast but the best way to tell is to convert your photo to black and white. You will easily be able to tell if there is enough value contract to make you happy.
The bright pink (on the left)could go either way, so maybe it needs to be replaced with another light pink???

I think that your fabric choices will work very well. When I chose mine, I was afraid that there wasn't enough contrast, but it worked out ok. The idea of using the black and white is very good. I'll have to try it.
Second try has better contrast.
