My Mother

My mother lives in San Diego and has lived there since the 1970's. Now that she's older she rarely drives the freeways. "IF" she did drive the freeway I know this is exactly what would happen.

Of course, when I go out to visit her I 'get' to drive the freeway .... I hate it.

That was funny!! I don't think I would like to drive those roads either!! I can easily get lost and if you make a wrong turn on those roads, how easy is it fix your mistake!! But they sure are neat to look at... how did they think to lay them all out like ribbons and make 'em all connect together?? lol!! thanks for the laugh this morning!!

I hate the freeways too! I have a back route to where I work so I can avoid the freeway..I try not to drive them if I can..

Funny, but that's Los Angeles for you! San Diego isn't quite as bad ... yet ... but it's getting there. I'm happy to be retired and not having to drive the work commute anymore.

This was a good laugh! I know a few "older" ladies who look & act like the one in the video!

What a hoot!!! My MIL is 86 and won't quilt driving. I try my best to keep her off the highways, but she insists on driving the 15 miles to the Wal-Mart to save a dollar on vitamins, lol.
