Soup with Santa Party

We partied with Santa yesterday with "Soup with Santa". Our parish, St. Xavier's Catholic Church, has the best parties .....

We had white chili, chicken vegetable and hamburger soup plus sandwiches, salad and oh my gosh the desserts ......... everyone had a wonderful time and candy canes for everyone. Of course, talking to Santa was the BEST.

Ohio Road Trip and Shop Hop

I meet with some ladies on Wednesday's to sew, quilt and chat. We are not a club, a quild or anything ... just friends who get together. Some of us quilt, some cross stitch, some knit or crochet , needlepoint and etc.

On Tuesday (12/9) we, Stitchers Group, went on a road trip and shop hop (a small one). The weather cooperated and we had a blast. Yes, we spent a little bit of money. I really enjoyed myself.

If you're interested more detailed information and photos are posted on the Stitcher's Group blog . Both shops quilt for customers on their respecitive Gammill longarm machines.

Nelsonville Quilt Company, Nelsonville, Ohio ... our first quilt shop.

Yes that's a real honest to goodness tin ceiling.

My purchases
The Inn, Nelsonville, Ohio where we had lunch. Yummy and very reasonable.

Sew Happy Quilting, Little Hocking, Ohio. Our 3rd stop of the day. Another nice shop.

Can't wait until we hit the road again.
