Swine Flu Has Landed

Poor GD#1 was sent home from School .... you must go to the doctor in order to return. Oops doctor says "It's the Swine Flu". So she'll be staying with us, we're hoping that brother and sister don't get it. Presently there are 650 kids out of her high school alone.

Be on the look out:
Fever
Cough
Sore throat
Body aches
Headache
Chills
Fatigue
Some people have also reported diarrhea and vomiting.

I hope she gets better soon and hope you don't catch it. Hey I hope you don't mind but I took your pictures of your fabric card to show on my blog. I have a picture of Granny looking at it but I wanted to show it close up. Hope that is ok. Thank you again. She absolutely loved it!

Hope your granddaughter feels better soon. My daughter went to Stat Care last Friday and they told her she had a virus, same symptoms as Swine Flu, they aren't even testing for Swine Flu (at Ohio State University), just sending the kids home and telling them to take Tylenol. She's been feeling crappy for over a week.

My 14 year old niece in Irvine, CA had it for 5 days and had a 105 fever. 1/3 of her high school was out sick.

Oh, no Sandy - hope she is feeling better soon and nobody else catches it. I miss talking to you!

As for your string quilt - I think it needs something really simple - I'd probably go with the baptist fan as I think anything else would get 'lost' in the strings.
